Hi, my name is Odunayo.

From where I come from, the Yoruba tribe of the southwestern past of Nigeria, every name given to a child has a meaning and why it is given to the child. Yeah, naming ceremony is a big deal. I was born during new year celebration so My name Odunayo means the the new year celebration of the year I was born was the one with great joy. Cool? Yeah😊 That's my tribe.

Since I was born, I have been living among my tribe and they have really great culture. Some of these cultures are really beautiful, some are just so funny, some I question and some I totally dislike.

Here, I write stories about my tribe, the Yoruba tribe, our cultures, way of life, what is normal and what isn't normal to us, how civilization has affected us and lots more. I share what I have seen, lived and experience, not from the naysayers.
